Greetings and welcome to my collection of muscial poetry 'A Subconscious Journey'.

 

Most of my poems are born from a state between dreaming and waking. A few years ago, I had a vivid dream about my childhood friend, Laurie Gray, who passed away when we were ten. I woke up compelled to write about it, and the resulting poem was a direct reflection of the dream. This simple act of creation felt so good that I began to wake up naturally in the middle of the night to write. I'd quickly jot down lines on my phone and then fall back asleep, often waking up surprised by what I had written.

 

I've learned that my best work comes from this subconscious space. When I try to consciously write a poem, it rarely feels as honest or complete.

 

This collection is a journey through these unexpected moments of inspiration. I hope you enjoy it ... Garry !
